Ramdhan gained international recognition after winning First Prize in the Short Film Category at the Stories by Muslim Pro: Of the Beloved global film competition, organized by Muslim Pro as part of its 16th anniversary celebration. His winning film, UN(Hated) Father, was selected from submissions around the world for its compelling narrative and emotional depth.
The film explores the complex relationship between a father and his son, drawing inspiration from the compassion, justice, and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Through thoughtful storytelling and cinematic visuals, Ramdhan presents a powerful message about forgiveness, understanding, and the importance of family values in modern society. According to his statement published by the organizers, the film reflects his observation that genuinely religious individuals are sometimes misunderstood as being outdated, while in reality they embody kindness and compassion.
Beyond this international achievement, Mochamad Ramdhan is also recognized as the Co-founder of Simpul Project, a creative production house specializing in film production, commercial videos, documentaries, and digital creative content. Throughout his career, he has received more than 25 national and international awards, reflecting his consistent commitment to excellence in filmmaking and visual communication.
